To members of the Czernowitz-L SIG: I am researching the
Soloman, Berta, Nachum BRUCKENTAL FAMILIES that lived in Czernowitz, Romania
before WWII. Berta lost two sons during Nazi occupation (their names not known
to me). The BRUCKENTAL families moved to Israel. I was in contact with them
until mid-1999. Prior to 1999, I was getting letters and cards from Berta
I have written to her several timesbut have not received an
answer from her. Also, a friend from Czernowitz, who was living in Toledo,
Ohio, my home town. told methere was a BRUCKENTAL Bakery or Cloths factory
in Czernowitz prior to WWII. Cananyone verify that ?? Please respond
privately.
