pro and con brilliant letter

Dear all,

Because I was out of town, I received all the recent correspondence
within our group, occasioned by Lucca's "brilliant letter" in one swoop.
So much furror over one letter! I completely agree with the latest letters
by Aaron Roll, David Glynn and Lilian Madfes, also want to emphasize
that I do not in the least object if members occasionally write about
subjects which are dear to their hearts in general and about Jewish and
Israel related matters in particular. At the same time I would like to
suggest that generally, we all answer particular letters directly to the
individuals who wrote them and not to the group as a whole.
