 Some
 years ago, I got same pages ( no idea who was the author) containing typical
 expressions in “ Czernowitzer Deutsch”. Unfortunatelly I lost these pages. As
 I grew up in Germany I was able to notice the difference and I loved that
 linguistic nuances a lot, because it made me feel very familiar with the
 language my father and his sisters and brothers used. It has a lot of
 different influences: austrian ones, yiddish and who knows what more.
 Czernowitzer Deutsch is a mirror for that multicultural influenced
 Bukowina.<o:p></o:p>
 Does
 some one know if we can get some literature about that? Did somebody already
 write about the subject? In any case, if there issome interest I propose to
 start sending expressions in Czernowitzer deutsch. Even the grammar and
 the<o:p></o:p>
 “
 Satzstellung” ( configuration of the sentence) is different and very
 charming.<o:p></o:p>
 I for
 example had to laugh about the verb “ schmusen” , which in czernowitzer
 deutsch means something like “have a talk”, in usual german it means something
 totally different.<o:p></o:p>
