I would like to comment that Jerry Silverbush's translation of
"History of the Jews in Bukovina, 1919-1944, " at
http://www.jewishgen.org/yizkor/Bukowinabook/buk2_001.html is a
masterful translation of a very important chapter. We are indebted
to Jerry's translation skills and to his donations of his work to
JewishGen so that all researchers have free access to it. His
modesty restrained him from mentioning in his posting that he was the
translator!!
