If anyone knows of a reputable researcher in the Ukraine I need to make
contact with that person, as I am looking for the birth record of my
Grandfather Josef Rittigstein who came from Chernowitz which is now in the
Ukraine. Josef was born in March of 1879. I hope to learn the name of
Josef's Mother.

Josef's father was Adolf Rittigstein and he was born in Bukowina in 1837, I
believe in the month of April.

Adolf's father was Michal Rittigstein. I do not know the name of Adolf's
Mother.

It is my understanding that the birth records are available for the year of
1879. My priority is to locate the name of Josef Rittigstein's Mother. Any
help that could be provided would be greatly appreciated.
