Greetings again Czernowitzers... Here are two more replies that I received
about Mimi's pictures that may be of interest to the list at large...

Hi, all, I'm Salo Sherer,
  My father was associated with Cafe Europe. If I remember correctly the
South East corner of Herren Gasse and Dr. Rothgasse was a bakery. A couple
of houses down on the same side of the street from there was a cellar,
Weckslers or Fleisher Restaurant, that was famous for hot dogs. Across
the street on Herren Gasse was a famous deli called Gabby. There was also
an outside iceskating rink on Dr. Rothgasse on the South West side.
The pictures brought back lots of memories.

Unknown 1 is the corner Rathausstrasse / Kochanowskigasse.
Unknown 2 is the Cafe de lŽEurope in the Herrengasse.
