A few days ago Mrs. Hedwig Brenner, the writer and a good friend of
mine, called me up and gave me a telephone number.
-"Call those people and asked for the Czernowitz book. They will send
it to you promptly!"

I called and a very friendly lady answered the phone. She asked for
my name and address and I received the book which is called
"Czernowitz war ein Familienbegriff" yesterday.

I am very excited about this book. Finally we have a complete history
of the city, very interesting interviews and declarations by former
citizens, in short, everything one could ask from such a documentary.

What I wonder about is: how could I share this with the Czernowitz
group? The book is written in German
(I forgot to mention that it has many photos, black and white) and
what I intend to do is call them again and ask if they have an
English version, ready or in preparation.
