[Cz-L] another kind of trip...

Good morning to all Czernowitzers..
I have so many Czernowitz e-mail addresses that I am kind of
mixed-up, so please forgive me if there is one or two addresses too
many.
The purpose of this message is to wish you all a very happy,
successful and wonderful trip and I really sincerely regret not being
with you.
There are several reasons, one of them having my son-in-law with my
youngest grandchild here from San Diego (the rest of the family will
come in summer) just around that time and the second reason, to be
quite honest, was a bit of apprehension about a difficult and
complicated trip. I tried to find out if anyone from Haifa is going,
this would have made it easier for me, but setting out by myself -
it's just so that I am no longer so young and adventurous.
So: in spirit I will be with you and I will keep on envying you. I do
hope that some of you will tell me ALL about it, as I did in the past
when I went back about 11 years ago.

I DO take a trip however, an organized one right from here, the
Elisha: We leave on the 26th May for Rumania, will land in Bucharest
and from there to Sinaia, where we will spend one week, taking trips
all around the Carpathian mountains. I guess I will have a ball with
finally seeing lilac again, which I haven't seen since I was 16, and
eating lots of cherries. This in addition to the magnificent scenery
of the country where I was born, because no matter what, Czernowitz
was Rumania throughout my early childhood.
