I would like to thank my possible cousin, Bruce Reisch (the maiden name
of my paternal grandmother was Resch or Reisch) for his interesting and
detailed biographical notes and hope that all of us currently subscribed
to this List, as well as all those who may join in the future, will
follow suit.

It is fascinating to follow the many threads which link us, our ancestors
and friends to each other over many generations. I have found that friends
and neighbors of my parents and grandparents were the parents and
grandparents of other members of this group and the preserved memories and
reminiscences of one person or family augment the preserved memories and
reminiscences of another person.

If I remember correctly, the initial idea for the biographical notes or
personal introductions, came from Renee Steinig and it is she who should
be given credit for it.
