I would like to draw you attention to the recently published book:

It is a Czernowitz family history spanning the years 1840 - 1982.
While being the history of one family, it illuminates the general
history and atmosphere of Jewish Czernowitz, in all it's many
manifestations and fateful events. It also gives a vivid description
of Hedwig's ancestors, in all their colorful personal identities.

In the near future, I will translate one of the chapters of Hedwig's
choosing and will mail it to anyone interested. Just let me know.
