I've just rejoined Czernowitz-L after being unsubscribed for probably
a couple of years. I am going to attend IAJGS 2006 in NYC next
month, which will be my first IAJGS conference.

I've been working at genealogy on mine and my wife's ancestry for
quite some time but have very little to go on concerning definite
towns in the old countries, nor any relatives left behind. My
paternal side came over in 1874 (LEVY/POSMONTIER) and about 1898
(ACKERMAN) while my maternal side came over in the years 1901-1912 as
far as I know.
