  !!Hello dear Chernowitsers

My name is David Shlick, I am 28, from Israel.
Three month ago I started a research for my grandmothers lost family.

I got some new information from my father and started my search on the Yad
Vashem
testimony lists. I found out that my grandmother have a brother ( although
she always told me
that her entire family was killed in the Shoa )l

She is originally from Chernowtsi and her parents were Bentsion Glasberg and
Henia Weiner.
After two month of searching the Internet, forums on the net, white and
yellow pages, I finely found
first one nephew , then his ( and my fathers ) cousins, and now finely I
found her Two brothers who are alive!!l
Very soon one of her brothers is coming to Israel ( from Canada, the entire
family is living in north America ), to meet
her !!l

This is an amazing story, they both , my grandmother and the rest of her
family, thought for 65 years
that the others are perished in the Shoa.

The reason I am writing this letter to you is to show that there is a hope
for everyone!! do not give up!! the feelings are amazing
!!we are so happy this is unbelievable

I would like to thank very much the two people who were so glad to help me,
and endeed , helped me a lot!! Ms. Merle Kastner and Mr. Bruce Reisch ( I
told you I will inform you when i will find them!!! ) thank you again!!l

Best regards, David Shlick, Israel

{Moderator's Note: David - I'm personally elated to hear your
wonderful news! This is just terrific, and it makes me very glad to
be a part of this internet team of Bukoviners and descendants. You
first contacted me just two months ago; it's amazing how quickly
you've located your long-lost family. During these troubling times
in Israel, it's nice to have such great news on Shabbat. So . .
Shabbat Shalom! Bruce}
