In reply to Cornel,
Airfares from London to Israel go up on December 17 and later.
An economy ticket for flights leaving on and before Dec. 16th
cost less than $500. Do not use a travel agent who gets a
percentage of what you pay. It is in their interest that you
pay as much as possible.
For those who would come from the US; fares go up as of Dec.16th.
Surely, even those who work, can take off 3 - 4 days;
leave on Saturday, have the meeting start on Sunday or Monday,
return home on Wednesday or Thursday.
If there would be more participants in April or March,
I have no objection to having the meeting then, as long as it
is not during Passover. In 2007 Passover starts April 2nd.
It would give us more time to prepare for the meeting.
If any of you would much rather have the meeting in April
than in December, write to the Cz.-L and in the subject line of
your message write "April meeting".
Best regards,
Mimi
