What is the criteria for participating in the Israel Czernowitzer reunion
which will be held March/April 2007?
Having heard some rumors about the conflict which occurred in the
Czernowitzer 2006 reunion where some participants were expelled, it is a
priority to establish who can and cannot attend the Israel Czernowitzer reunion in Israel, so that no further embarrassment is caused to any one of the attendees.
In Short:
1. Do you have to be born in Czernowitz or Bucovina?
2. How about Southern Bucovina?
3. First or second generation of born Czernowitzers and who have never set foot in the Bucovinas.
4. Czernowitzer Olim in Israel are many, however, they are not of the German speaking generation and a high percentage are not Jewish. Will they be able to attend?
