I checked the airfares for flying to Israel from New York for March 15 and
March 23 and the fares are similar, there is actually one flight on 3/23
which is cheaper than on 3/15. I think that the airfares go up just before
Passover. In 2007, Passover starts on April 3, therefore flying to Israel
before March 26, is not more expensive than earlier in March.

I chose March 26, so that those participants, who might want to stay in
Israel for the Seder could do so and those who would want to get home in
time to make their own seder could also do so. March 17th is a Saturday,
Some of the members of the Cz. List are observant and will not travel
on the Sabath, I think we should take this into consideration.
