sorry,mimi but your theory re hora is only very partly correct. if you go to
the encyclopaedia brittanica you will find that that kind of circle dance
arose in many different areas and of many derivations. in greece circle
dances were certainly of many kinds, the word chorea is related but yhe
circle dances of eastern europe predated the greek connection. there were
many kinds but if you go to google and input hora you will find that one was
called..hora mare bucovineasca.....guess why!!! cornel
