Dear Adam,

The town of Kotzman is now called Kicman.
I do not have or ever had relatives there, but my maternal grandmother
was born and her family lived in the village of Klyvodin, which is north
of Kicman. Kicman was the district center and I have a document from about
1905 which was issued in Kitsman. Jews from Klyvodin were buried in Kicman,
so both in 2003 and 2004 I went there to look for the graveyard. An
apartment complex was built on top of the graveyard, so only some of the
gravestones are visible. If you go there, it seems that everyone knows where
the graveyard is, because it is so centrally located. You could also pay
someone in Chernivtsi (Czernowitz), who can read Hebrew or Yiddish to go
there and look for the names you are interested in.

Regards,
Mimi
