Czernowitzers:

As a result of a long phone conversation I had last night with Michele
Troup, the person whose doing the graphic design work on the cookbook, I
have given the project a permanent space on the website.

It is selectable from the menu on the home page. Click on 'Bukovina
Cookbook Project'. Three more recipes have been added for a grand total
of four. Four, only four? So... WHERE'S ALL THE RECIPES????? If one
could post in html, I would put that question in 48pt. type! Let's get
going on this! I think there are a few recipes on the website (from
Lucca and others)... I'll try and find them.

I couldn't remember the names that folks suggested for the book so I
temporarily named it: The 'Czernowitz-L Bukovina Jewish Cookbook'.

One of the suggestions Michele made was to have two sections: the
Bukovina section and another section where we would publish list
members' yummy recipes that didn't necessarily come from Bukovina.

Michele also thought that we might, if we really get going on this, try
and raise funds for say, the cemetery project with donations from those
who would download the finished book.

Anyway, if we allow general recipes, we probably should send them
directly to Michele or myself rather than clutter the list with
non-genealogically related materials.

So, take a look at the latest output, and let me know your thoughts on
expanding the book with the second section. But most important, let's
get some Bukovina recipes into the hopper, OK?

Best,
jerome
