[Cz-L] Benjamin Aprile

As we now have lots of new people on this discussion list, I thought I'd try
asking again about the Benjamin Aprile Society of New York. My Czernowitzer
grandfather belonged to it.

I had no luck with the YIVO list, Hannah Kliger's *Jewish Hometown
Associations and Family Circles in New York*, the WPA Yiddish Writers' Group
list from the 30's, or the Jewish Genealogical Society of New York's
website. I did call the State of New York and found out that the Society did
in fact exist as a corporation, and was eventually disbanded. I will be
inquiring about those records.

My burning question is --- who was Benjamin Aprile? I've never been able to
find out.
