Here's another comment on the map...

Hi Jerome,

It was interesting to see that the house my mother was born in 1899 on
Dreifaltigkeitsgasse 1 had not yet been erected some 30 years before.

As to Regulierung, now written with an e after the I. It is still used
to-day as a technical term to mean both the plan including 1) the
measurements of plots and/or 2) their legal status of purpose i.e.
public, private, housing, Industry, roads etc. This of course can be
and generally is done with the aid of an attached text.

I see some of the plots are differently marked then others - might be
the ones that were damaged by fire, at any rate it is clear that the
primal scope of the plan was for repair and re-habilitation with
probably other changes by the municipality added. ( I don't think
there is a municipality that would not regulate some district after a
major catastrophe like that fire.
