Dear Sirs,

I live in the United States. My deceased mother
was born in Czernowitz in 1911. I am a member of
the The Czernowitz-L list which has an
associated web site at
<http://czernowitz.ehpes.com/>
.

One of our members posted the link to the below
article, which appears on your website. That
member, as well as myself and I am sure, many
others, are confused as to the precise
English meaning of those words as used (see
highlighted and underlined words) in the context
of the below article.

The problem of course, is in the literal translation from Russian to Englis=
h..

Would it be possible for Ms. Angela Nikolayeva,
or the City Website Editor, Mr. Anatolij Melnik,
or a Chernivtsi City Council member or City
Official, or any one else in your offices who is
fluent in English, to please give a more precise
translation into English, of the meaning of the
words "accomplishment", "elaborated" and
"arranged", as used in the below article (see
bolded and underlined words), taken from your
website.

Thank you,
Gary Rogovin

Cemeteries Will Be Arranged

Ms. Angela Nikolayeva, director of historic and
cultural reserve “Cemeteries in Zelena and
Kyshynivs’ka Streets” informs about
accomplishment of both cemeteries – Jewish and
Christian ones. Accomplishment works are being
performed there now. Fence is being built, tombs
of warriors who died in World War I are being
arranged. The cemeteries will be cleaned from old
trees that constitute certain threat to tombs.
