Dear All - and especially those I have promised a formal answer,

Yesterday afternoon I attended a meeting at the office of the WOBJ,
together with other representatives of the next generation ("Dor
Ha'hemschech"). One of the subjects discussed was the planned Cz
museum. I am now allowed, on behalf of the WOBJ, to officially state
and inform the group as follows:
1. The WOBJ supports the establishment of the Cz museum,
according to the ideas suggested by Mr Zissels and the Cz-list
members: Most of the museum will be dedicated to Jewish Bukowina
life till 1940; the holocaust and transnistria, however, are to be
included and presented, although separately and to a lesser extent.
2. The WOBJ will thus cooperate fully with all efforts
required, and has already started collecting written material to be
given shortly to Mr Zissels' team. The WOBJ calls upon all others who
might have appropriate material to do the same.
3. The WOBJ congratulates the volunteers who will personally
travel to Cz this June and who will overview the preparations
personally and professionally.
4. The WOBJ's president, Mr Yitzhak Yalon, amongst others and
together with representatives of the next generation, are to meet Mr
Zissels and his aid, during Mr Zissels next visit to Israel (11-18.5)
at the Tel Aviv office and will discuss further issues relevant to
the museum and other means of cooperation.

I must say that I truly welcome all of this and hope to see "further
cooperation" between the Cz-list and the WOBJ regarding this matter
and other matters of importance.
