As I wrote before, Mr. Melnyk of the Chernivtsi city administration,
wrote me that in the city archives there is an address for Traian Popovici
On Zankovetska street, formerly Karolinengasse.
He did not send me a house number and has yet not replied to my inquiries.
Adrian Barbu Berler learned the house number from Dr. Billig in Brazil.
It was #8 Karolinengasse. With the aid of a map sent by Peter Elbau,
I found that the house was on the corner of the Karolinengasse intersection
with the Musikvereingasse. Diagonally across the street from the hotel
Bristol, just what Hedwig had told me that Sidi Gross told her.
I sent this information to Hardy and asked him to find photographs
of the house. Within 4 hours, he sent me a large number
of excellent photographs.
This despite being busy with other things.

I think that this is an excellent location, the house in question,
Is beautiful and has a lot of blank spaces, where a plaque could fit.
Any of you who want some of these photographs, write me
and I will send them to you.

My thanks to Hardy, Adrian, Hedwig, Peter Elbau and Bruce Reisch, who makes
it all possible.
