"Soll mir san far Dir", meant that all bad things that might threaten you
should revert to me.
Another very common curse was "A rich in dajn taten" or with more emphasis
"in dajn taten's taten". A pious wish "Fun dajn maul in Gott's oiren" etc.
etc, I suppose at the Yiddish meeting in La Jolla, among more academic topics,
all these sayings will be discussed.
