When you are in Cz, perhaps you could look at some of the existing plaques
around the city, and see what material(s) they are made of, how well they
look, how well they have lasted. Then you could use your judgment to
decide.

I have no strong feelings for or against a picture of Popovici. The
important thing is that the plaque should look dignified.
