[Cz-L] Popovici memorial plaque

Dear All,

I just received E-mail from Dr. Bursuc to inform me, that
the proposed Popovici plaque was not discussed at the latest meeting
of the committee, dealing with such matters. They had to discuss
numerous issues concerning the upcoming 600 year celebrations.
They promised Dr. Bursuc to definitely discuss the Popovici plaque
and announce their decision by October 10th.

Dr. Bursuc wrote, that he will continue to work on this project.

To those who do not know him, or about him:
Dr. Bursuc is an old time Czernowitzer (he was born in Czernowitz
before WW2). For years he has cared for the elderly Jews of Chernivtsi.
He is a thoroughly trustworthy, decent person and respected as such
in Chernivtsi.

I trust him completely.
