[Cz-L] "Die Stimme"

Dear All,

I would like to reiterate, what I wrote before.
Independent of any links between the "ehpes" site and the site
of "Die Stimme", or of the merits of "Die Stimme", versus our own
Cz.-List, I think that readers of "Die Stimme" should be kept informed
about our ongoing projects as well as current events in Chernivtsi.

We, members of the Cz.-List, have been and continue to be involved
in projects in Chernivtsi, which I am sure would interest the readers
of "Die Stimme" and in which some of them would probably like to
participate. I mean projects, such as the Popovici memorial
plaque, supplying material to the Jewish museum in Chernivtsi and the
rehabilitation of the cemetery.

Some members of the Cz.-List, such as Hardy and various visitors to
Chernivtsi, keep the rest of us informed on what is happening
in Chernivtsi currently.

I think it would be worthwhile for one of the members of our list,
who is fluent in German, to send such information to the editors of
"Die Stimme", in order that it be published and be available to
Czernowitzers who are not members of our list.

While there are members of our list, who subscribe to "Die Stimme"
and vice versa, there are also subscribers to "Die Stimme", who are
not likely to join our list, because they prefer not to send and
receive E-mail, or because they are not fluent in English.
Yet, the information we gather and disseminate and the projects,
we are involved in, are likely to interest them and their input,
would be valuable in all matters pertaining to Czernowitz.
