[Cz-L] last!

Hi all. My final observations. Re yom kippur ..just before yizkor the
shul suddenly filled...and after a lot of people sort of made strategic
exits. I have the feeling there are a lot of jews who are not exactly
religious in this town but yizkor still brings them out. Next...I
went to the city archive in the ferdinandplatz..just opposite gaby's
favourite restaurant...to see if they had any information on the 41st
infantry regiment .".unser regiment". And yes she had volume 3 of the very
rare "Geschichte des 41.Regiment" published in czernowitz 1908.It listed
names of officers and n.c.o,s....and i found at least one relative.The
fascinating thing was the abundance of obviously jewish names right through
the ranks. A very heartfelt request...if anybody reading this comes across
any of these books,or knows of any antiquarian booksellers who might be able
to locate any of the 3 volumes,then please let me know!!! And thats it

Ps there are lots of pics and as soon as i work out how to get them off the
memory card and into the computer they be on the way to uncle yosl in Canada
for putting on the website.
