and of course, "prost" in Romanian meaning stupid or bad, same root
obviously.
Surprised that the Eminescu foundation is doing something for a
synagogue, he was quite an antisemite!
Andrei Oisteanu was in Berlin too, a few years ago, and presented his
book at the local Cultural Institute. Also on another occasion, at the
Romanian Embassy, for a Conference on the Romanian Holocaust.
