[Cz-L] "and the song lives on"

Dear All--A belated Happy Chanukah, New Years and congratulations to Mimi and her group for the diligence and patience to see their Popovici project accepted.

A P.S. to the discussion of the song Oyfen Pripetshik.
  
In December during the holiday vacation, my 12 year old g/daughter Monica played Leisal in a children's version of Sound of Music. New Year's Eve 5 of the cast members including Monica decided to go around the neighborhood singing selections from the show in a caroling way. Afterwards they went to one of the grandparents' home for hot chocolate and a captive audience who were having dessert. The children sang their songs and asked for any requests. One guest popped up and asked if they knew Oyfen Pripetchik and Monica said yes!
