RE: [Cz-L] Directory of Czernowitz

Hi Nurit,

Thank you very much for your appreciation. Your question may be interesting=
 for other group members too. At the present I've got the following Czernowi=
tz directories:

1898, 1909, 1914: released on the Ehpes website and available for download =
on http://czernowitz.blogspot.com/
1905, 1908, 1910: from the Austrian period, not yet released
1924/25, 1927, 1936: from the Romanian period, not yet released
1895, 1906: identified, but not yet copied and/or released

We basically intend to process and publish all a. m. directories, but it ta=
kes us about 3 - 6 months to complete one edition. At the moment we've start=
ed to edit the 1936 directory.

I don't have evidence about the requested 1926 directory, but I am conducti=
ng an ongoing research and assume that the other interwar editions may be he=
lpful for you too. The availability of the original documents is mentioned i=
n the a. m. Czernowitz blog.

If you and/or other group members have any request regarding the Czernowitz=
 directories not yet released, please let us know and we'll do our best to b=
ear a helping hand.
