This photograph must have been taken in March or April 1944.
I believe that the Soviet troops entered Czernowitz on March 23, 1944.
The soldiers in the photographs are Soviet, but the advertisement is in
Romanian. By May 1944 the advertisement would have been in Russian and the
soldiers would have been wearing summer uniforms.
