Hi, Marcel,

The photo was apparently taken immediately upon the "second occupation" in
March 1944. I am not sure whether it really was along the main entrance to
Cinema Central.

I worked with Nutty during the Ghetto period, not only for Savoy but also
for Cinema Scala, Cinema Central. When the Soviets came back, before both
of us "disappeared from Cz." (around June-July 1944), each of us was
assigned to one movie theater. I got the former "Cinema Capitol" (Dom
Polski), Nutty got "Savoy", or the cinema across the street in the former
"Deutsches Haus" and Tury Horowitz got "Cinema Apollo" also on the
Herrengasse (ul. Kobilyanskoy).

All the best, Abraham K.

I do not believe that the soviet occupation in 1944 would allow Rumanian
posters

The picture may have been taken the first days of occupation or or in an
other town in Rumania proper with a Cinema Central.

Friend of mine Nutty Feuerstein made posters for the former Cinema Savoy and
they were al in Ukrainian
