[Cz-L] New on Ehpes-23 May 09

Czernowitzers...

1. Some time ago information was posted to Ehpes about Drucker's List
(see http://czernowitz.ehpes.com/stories/druker/drukerlist.html

Asher Turtel has posted some commentary and a drawing (map of the
cemetery at Mogilev) that has been in his family since 1942 and that
he believes may have been made by Yakob Drucker.

and look at the last two frames in the album.

2. Another album of photos from the Radautz cemetery by Hanalore
Condiescu has been posted. The album contains some of the best grave
stone carvings I have come across -- amazing, almost cartoon like
depictions of animals, all apparently done by the same carver. Here's

3. Peter Elbau sends along this link which will also appear in our
'Links' section on Ehpes: http://www.theodorkramer.at/ The site is in
German and Peter says: "...the Bukowina is well represented in the
society's publications and symposia".

4. From Yosi Eshet by way of Alfred Schneider a concise biography of
lord Roll of Ipsden, famous Czernowitzer (actually famous
Novoselitsa-er too) -- very interesting. Here's the link:
