I know of a Jewish person, Leonid Kula, who used to be the kolhoz
president in Bojan for many years. He was married to a non-Jewish woman
and is now buried in
the Christian cemetery, not far from the entrance. When I visited the
grave in 2006, the cemetery looked quite well-kept. His wife is taking
great care of the
grave, but as Cornel rightly says, we don't have relatives on the spot
to take such care of our graves...
On another theme, we are enjoying the visit of Abraham Kogan and his
wife, they are wonderful people. They love Berlin, the "fresh air" here
"Berliner Luft", the enormous cultural variety, and cannot stop
visiting Berlin, this is maybe their fourth time.
