My mother was born in June 1921 in Czernowitz. Her maiden name was Strainsky.
She went into the Scazenits camp in 1941 where her mother died in 1942.
We know nothing of her father, Roman Strainsky, and can't seem to find that name,
even with other spellings. We were told he was with the Russian army and she
never saw him again.

Does anyone have any knowledge of people with the name Strainsky?
