[Cz-L] Die Stimme

Hi all! As I said I would,I went to talk to Yuli Weiner at the Hitachdut
Olei Bukowina . The idea was to get them to write more about Bukowina
affairs and less about other things. However,my visit coincided with
meetings there with a Czernowitz-born and very dynamic Yochanan Ron(Singer).
He is involved in business,he is also Chairman of the Board of a
charity"Deprived Childhood Holocaust Children Survivors".I was joined at
this meeting by Asher Turtel. It became obvious that Yochanan's ideas and
mine were fairly similar.but it also turned out he had no idea of the our
list's existence.He put "czernowitz" into his laptop and promptly got a
message that the site was for sale!! Got him to go to google and put in"
Czernowitz List".and now he knows we ain't for sale!! So to summarise.he is
very keen to revitalize the Hitachdut,and very much wants to work together
with us. He will contact Jerome or Bruce, he is going to get a proper Board
to be set up and for the German speakers among us, the Stimme will revert
to that from being"Die Stumme". And on that basis,I renewed my subscription!
