Re: [Cz-L] FHL Records from Bukowina

Hi Ava:

I once heard or read that early Jewish records in Bukovina were kept
with the Catholic records. So I searched several microfilms of
Church records for Czernowitz and Radautz and couldn't find more than
perhaps two entries with possible Jewish names. I don't know the
answer for Storozhynetz and Krasna Ilski, but in the case of the
microfilms I examined, I came up empty.
