I've been corresponding with Georgeta Iancu of Bucharest the past
couple of days. She has been searching for the tombstones of her
grandparents and great grandparents, and has had some success in
Radauti and Siret. She knows that her grandmother, Malka SINGER, was
buried in Czernowitz ca. 1935, but she doesn't appear in the burial
register. First name is possibly Malvina or Malcia, but most likely
appears as Malka. Georgeta is planning a trip next week to
Czernowitz and hopes to find the tombstone. Does anyone have any
suggestions that I can pass along to her before she leaves? Has
anyone who has visited the cemetery seen this stone by any chance?
Thanks for any suggestions,
Bruce
