Hardy....possibly true,but the chances are that the roots have already
affected the grave. However if the sapling is destroyed the stone will
survive whereas mechanical means could not go deep enough to get the roots
and prevent regrowth. Cornel

If you look well you can see that the sapling has its roots in the grave
on the right hand.
By drilling and setting fire to the stump you set fire to the grave.
You cannot control gasoline seeping into the grave.
Better use mechanical devices.
