To Hardy and all those interested in having the Czernowitz/Chernivtsi Jewish
cemetery cleared of weedy vegetation and maintained in good condition:

Advice and information sharing, are useful, but I find myself thinking:
Enough "Eytzes"! We need some practical actions.

Would someone please volunteer to do the following:
1). Find out what saws, cutters, augers, blades, herbicides and bacterial
preparations are available in the Ukraine and at what cost .
2). If they are not available in the Ukraine, would someone import them
to the Ukraine from Europe, Israel, US or Canada.
3. Go to Chernivtsi and advise the cemetery administration on how to clear
the cemetery of weedy vegetation, while being careful not to damage
gravestones and make sure to prevent rapid regrowth of the vegetation.
4). Stay in Chernivtsi long enough to supervise that any work which is done
in the cemetery, is done well, carefully and efficiently.

If there are enough volunteers to do each of these tasks, I can easily think
of more tasks, so that additional volunteers, will not find themselves out
of work.
