As Czernowitz was not a town but "Eine Weltanschaung" so Isarel is, for
me, "NOT JUST" a state it's my homeland, it's MY country, it's my shelter MY
IDENTITY. I never ever, I have been living here since 1944, looked what it
said on my ID card nor i n my passport, I carry both with pride because
they're MINE !!!!
We should learn from those who say"right or wrong MY COUNTRY"!!!! What on
earth are you looking for to criticize IsraeL??? Well why don't the Swiss,
Italians, British and its Commonwealth criticize them??Would you dare
criticizing anything in America as a bloody Jew- in England?
If you don't like it, tant-pis.
I am proud to have my home as I had none to keep me away from misery. My
children and grandchildren serve their country with great pride. Depends
where you come from and how you express your dislikes because what children
hear and learn at home they take with them for life. As for foreign
relations with any country interests are of great importance. I don't know
who our Amabassador was, certainly not a too brilliant man and I,
personally, never agreed with Mapai anyway but even in Ceaucescu's time
there was immigration from Roumania and that was very important for
us. Those who let Jew out were good for us-.
You didn't feel well when you came to Israel and the Polish were the "upper"
classes, that was
just because they came earlier than you that's all and it certainly didn't
mean anything except their clique life. The Rumanian's soon overtook them.
You remind me of a Prof. at Tel Aviv University after his sabbatical year
in the U,S.A was over and was offered an extention which he refused, when
asked why he answered: Only at home am I allowed to be an Antisemite here I
defend what I believe in.
