Got mixed up - might call it a Suppe lapsus putting infants on horses.
As to why this infantry regiment called itself light - might be they had
only personal weapons - The German MG was not yet part of the Rumanian army,
machine guns and other heavier weapons were still carried by carts and
horses. To day every unit is motorized, so any comparison to modern armies
might be a fallacy.
