   It is August 14 , on the Rudolfsplatz.
     About 10 in the morning . By the angle of the shadow. Lovely day.
       Hotel Bristol -Czernowitz. Waldorf Astoria of old Czernowitz.
      Across the Popovici plate.
        A landmark of Czernowitz but no longer a Hotel.
       At the opening - many ,many years ago :
