[Cz-L] TYPICAL FOOD IN CZERNOWITZ

THE BLOG IS WRITING ABOUT AL KIND OF TYPICAL CZERNOWITZ STREETS, BUILDINGS
AND OBVIOUSLY HISTORY IN GENERAL AND ABOUT JEWS IN PARTICULAR. I WINDERTHAT
THERE IS NO INTEREST ABOUT FOOD. I WAS RECENTLY IN VANCOUVER ISLAND AND WAS
OFFERED IN TOFINO CORNBREAD, WHICH REMINDED ME OF THE MALAI WE ATE IN
CZERNOWITZ. IT WAS BAKED AT HOME AND ALSO SOLD IN SOME KONDITOREIEN. I
REMEMBER SPECIFICALLYTHE KONDITOREI BREITNER IN THE BAHNHOFSTRASSE NOT FAR
 FROM THE ENTRANCE TO THE JEWISH HOSPITAL, OWNED BY THE MOTHER OF MY
MITSCHUELER BREITNER,, WHERE I HAD A VERY TASTY MALAI.
