Subject: [Cz-L] An evening about Jewish Czernowitz

This past August, a delegation ,from the Zalman Shazar Center and
Avihai fund, called "Journey to the heritage", traveled to Bukovina
in order to document and explore Czernowitz and the region
surrounding.
The ddelegation formulated research papers including documentation of
the city's urban space, cultural and community life. In addition to
similar products produced for the town of Viznitz and Okitb (Coty)
nearby (though not in Bukovina).
An event displaying the findings will take place on Thursday the
24.12.09 in Israel at the Eretz Israel Museum in Ramat Aviv, at 7 pm.
During the event we will present the works that include documentation
of Jewish urban space in Czernowitz (including disclosure of frescoes
in the synagogue "Psalms Company"), Viznitz, and documentation of the
Jewish cemetery Coty (polarization) and a photo exhibition and a
short documentary produced especially for this evening .

Any one interested in attending this event may contact me via mail.

Thank you and good day
William Kleinbaum
