Having stayed there a couple of times in the past year, I can tell
anyone planning a trip to Czernowitz that the Magnat Hotel is very
comfortable but I would not describe it as a 'luxury' hotel. It is
small, conveniently located in the center of town and is very good
value; best place to stay in my opinion. It does not have an elevator
if that is of concern. It is in an old very picturesque street where
many of the buildings at the town end were extensively refurbished, on
the outside at least, for the 600th year celebrations.

> Passing beneath such a balcony can be much more fatal than swine flu.
> The luxury hotel "Magnat " is also not far down this street.
> So if you stay there , avoid the sidewalks.
> Very old street - not much motor trafic.
> Joining Mehlplatz and Dreifaltigkeitsgasse.
