Hi,

Your description of Mr. Hutschnecker's attire and the things he sold I think
is great - a modern supermarket a la Czernowitz- long before supermarkets
became known to the world at large. I know you missed out on Sauerkraut,
Wurst and some liquor too.
Yes, I believe in Cz. there were people with heart not necessarily the
"rich" but the less you had, the more willing you were to share. I met with
this during the war and never forget.
