Your father went to L3 - of course! This was then the famous and notorious
"Jewish Gymnasium" , the ghetto for Jewish boys and teachers.
The big surprise are the lists of all the teachers.
The success of the Romanization politics in education is obvious . Compare
the 1924 listings to those of 1936.
I think , that in 1924/25 there were in Czernowitz no German schools
anymore.
I know that the famous German Meislerschule was not a "German school", not
officially. German was only a "bonus" teaching subject.
