Dear all,
Sorry, been off for a long time again. Days just swish by and leave me
no time for this great machine which keeps me in touch with all of
you.
To all of you who have had similar experiences in a peaceful Cz. I
just want to add about the train station and the drive up that steep
hill. In my memory, except for the arrival of refugees from Poland
-which I wrote about- was a nightmare. I always feared, or so it
seemed to me, that the poor horses will never "make" it up; while
going down the Fiacker had to put on brakes so the horses
won't......whatever. I personally always enjoyed nr.1 which changed to
nr.2 tram to and from Gaensehaufel, it seemed so much safer, didn't
it??
